2009-05 Isabella First Days

Welcome Isabella Justine Haughey!

Arriving early (clearly not taking after her mother with regard to punctuality) at 19 inches & 6 pounds, 6 ounces, our beautiful baby girl was born todat at 1:10 PM. All went splendidly, and mother and baby (and father) are doing just fine.

Baby update

It is official, our little girl is coming May 22nd!!! Because of the fact that she is still breech and has low amniotic fluid, we have a C-section scheduled this Friday. Below is the last picture of our family as we know it today.

Bedrest!

After 35 active & energetic weeks of pregnancy, my spirited wife has finally been forced to slow down. Gym classes, cycling and extended walks have been surrendered to strict Doctor’s orders of bedrest for at least the next week. No worries, as Mom and baby are doing fine! It seems that a small tear in her placenta and a low amniotic fluid level were grounds for the imposed hiatus, so we are resting until our follow up ultrasound on Monday. We will keep you posted...
